Campbellton
The City of Campbellton is located in the Province of New Brunswick, Canada, on the border of the Province of Québec, separated by the stunning Restigouche River. Campbellton is also located in the Appalachian Mountain Range, which allows for a spectacular view at any time of the year. Campbellton is a small city with a population of approximately 7500 citizens and a large percentage of them are bilingual. Like other New-Brunswick regions, Campbellton residents are known for their hospitality and their charming personalities. Nature plays a very important part in the lives of Campbellton citizens. A big majority of the activities in the region are focused on nature, such as kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hunting, nature trails, exterior parks, bird watching, skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing, just to name a few. |
Thanks to the Provincial Sugarloaf Park and the Memorial Regional Civic Center, Campbellton also has sports and recreational activities to offer for everyone’s taste. There are also ways to discover the region’s culture, by visiting our museums, galleries, and the National Historical Site of the Battle of Restigouche, all located in Campbellton and the surrounding areas.
Campbellton also has special events for every season. In other words, Campbellton might be a small city, but it has a lot to offer to its citizens as well as its visitors!
